WRO — RoboMission (Elementary)

One robot, one mat, about two minutes. The World Robot Olympiad's youngest division.

RoboMission = one robot, a printed mat, about two minutes, fully autonomous. Here’s what a team actually does:

  1. Get the mystery field. A brand-new mat and missions drop every season. 2026 is “Robots Meet Culture”.
  2. Build your bot. Motors, sensors and LEGO®-style parts: a machine that can grab, push, sort and deliver.
  3. Teach it, don’t drive it. You program every move in advance. At the buzzer, hands off: the robot runs solo for about two minutes.
  4. Beat the surprise. Some objects sit in different spots on competition day, so robots must sense and adapt, not memorise.
  5. Climb the ladder. Strong runs move you up: national rounds, then the international final.
