The difference in one line
Coding tells a computer what to do. Robotics gives that code a body (motors, sensors, wheels) so it can act in the real world.
Side by side
| Coding class | Robotics class | |
|---|---|---|
| Kid works with | Screen & code | Bricks, motors, sensors + code |
| Result shows up | On the screen | Rolling across the floor |
| Great fit if your child | Loves games, stories, apps | Loves building & taking things apart |
Our honest take
- Younger child, or not sure? Start with robotics. Hands keep attention, and the robot instantly shows whether the code worked.
- The choice isn't permanent. Our Beginner track starts visual; the Intermediate track moves up to text coding with Arduino. Same pathway, both worlds.
- Either way, the real win is the same: your child stops just using technology and starts making it.
